Claire and Marc, the owners, will always be committed to welcoming you personally and ensuring that your stay is as pleasant as possible.
Open in August 2018, the Gîte de La Poiraie is a recent construction, designed from the very beginning to offer our guests a comfortable, warm, and high-quality stay.
The gîte is fully equipped to offer you all the comfort needed for a wonderful vacation. Having ourselves stayed in vacation rentals for many years, we know how much certain details make a difference. We therefore designed our gîte with this experience in mind, prioritizing comfort, quality, and authenticity.
Recently built, the cottage combines modern amenities with high-quality materials. Natural stone and oak beams give it all the charm and authenticity of traditional Norman houses.

A personalized welcome
You will always be greeted in person: by Claire and Marc, or, if necessary, by a trusted representative. At our place, there is no lockbox: we prefer human contact and the pleasure of welcoming you personally.
2. A clean and carefully prepared holiday cottage
Upon your arrival, you will find a gîte that is perfectly clean and ready to welcome you. The beds will be made with clean bed linen, and each registered guest will have bath towels.
3. A nearby presence
We live just 5 minutes away from the guesthouse. This proximity allows us to remain available throughout your stay: to advise you, provide information about the surrounding area, or step in quickly should you encounter any difficulty.
Our goal is simple: to make you feel right at home here, with the added pleasure of fully enjoying your stay in Normandy.

At La Poiraie, we attach great importance to the quality of the welcome, comfort, and services we offer our guests. We have chosen to have our gîte regularly evaluated by recognized organizations in order to offer you reliable and transparent benchmarks regarding the quality of your stay.
The Gîte de La Poiraie is rated 4 stars, according to the official classification of furnished tourist accommodations. This classification is based on a precise set of standards concerning, in particular, surface areas, spatial layout, amenities, comfort, and the services offered. It constitutes a true guarantee of the quality and equipment level of the furnished accommodation.
This rating, issued by an authorized body, is renewed every five years.
La Poiraie also holds a 4-ear Gîtes de France rating, which complements this evaluation with an approach more focused on the stay experience. It notably takes into account the quality of comfort, the general condition of the guesthouse, its layout, its surroundings, and the attention paid to welcoming vacationers.
These two recognitions are complementary: The 4-star rating certifies a specific level of facilities and services, while the 4-ear Gîtes de France rating highlights the overall quality of the stay and its surroundings.
