No booking engine whether comprehensive or not can provide all the rules necessary for successfully booking a vacation rental. While booking engines are best suited to the needs of hotels with multiple rooms and per-person, per-night pricing, vacation rentals often involve a single property for multiple nights, with little or no impact on the rate based on the number of guests staying there. Our Reservation Policies:
Our reservation policies are based on the following principles:
There are three different rate seasons
High Season:
The high season generally falls during the summer months of July and August. The reservation policy requires a minimum stay of one week (7 days) with check-in on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and check-out by 10:00 a.m. the following Saturday. However, in exceptional cases, stays of less than 7 days may be accepted if no reservation has been made 8 days in advance. For example, you can book 1, 2, or even 3 consecutive weeks.
Mid-Season:
The shoulder season generally spans the months of February through June, September, or the Christmas and New Year’s periods—which often coincide with school breaks. The reservation policy requires a minimum stay of 3 days, with check-in always at 4:00 p.m. and check-out by 10:00 a.m. You can book a minimum of 3 days—or even more: 7, 21, etc. During school vacation periods, reservations are for a minimum of 7 days with check-in on Saturday. As with the high season, depending on availability, these restrictions may be lifted 8 days prior to arrival.
Off-Season:
The off-season generally spans the months of September, October, January, and February, excluding school breaks. The reservation policy requires a minimum stay of 3 days, with check-in always at 4:00 p.m. and check-out by 10:00 a.m. You can book a minimum of 3 days or even more—7, ... 21.
All-Inclusive Weekend Package:
The weekend offer is mainly available during the off-season. The reservation policy specifies that stays must be for a minimum of 2 nights, with check-in at 4:00 p.m. on Friday and check-out by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Our Pricing Policy:
Our pricing policy is based on a base rate for the high season, with discounts applied during the mid and low seasons. The longer your reservation, the more attractive the average daily rate becomes.
Reservations for peak season periods made before December 31 of year n-1 qualify for a discount.
Options:
There are three types of options: mandatory, optional, and available
Required options: You'll find the tourist tax, the cleaning fee, and the package for 6 to 8 people (Sofa)
Optional extras: You can choose the fireplace package, or the extra bed (sofa) package if there are up to 6 of you and you'd like, for example, separate beds in one bedroom.
Available Options: Our base rate for six guests (people) includes several options, such as the electricity package, the towels and linens package, or the crib package.
Coupons:
Coupons, also known as “discount vouchers,” can be made available for specific periods, to preferred customers, or as part of referral programs.
